The Law Offices of Geragos & Geragos, APC, is looking for college and/or pre-law interns. Our firm engages in complex cases, both civil and criminal, that often involve intense document review and trial preparation. We endeavor to have a selected group of interns and provide them with rewarding hands-on experience. Our main office is located in the Financial District in downtown Los Angeles (right by the Metro/7th St. subway station).
Among the numerous tasks an Intern can expect to be assign to include assisting in preparation of depositions and trials, discovery review, preparation of time lines, transcriptions and summary of audio and video recordings, scanning, copying, filing and indexing, miscellaneous office duties as well as filing documents with the courts. When appropriate, an Intern is invited to observe court proceedings and to function as Trial Assistant.
We cooperate with colleges and universities in order for a student to earn work-experience credit. Scheduling subject to availability and current education schedule, approx. 2-4 times per week for 12 weeks. Dress-code: Professional, business casual.
